Need a speaker? I've appeared at Literary Festivals, big and small, from the Melbourne Writers' Festival to CBCA Book Week. One of my favourite parts of the job is to connect with and inspire readers. My festival audiences are as varied as my readership and I can adapt my talks to suit primary students, teenagers or adults. If you'd like to book an appearance or have any questions, you can contact me here. If you'd like a list of program ideas, just ask.
My Young Adult novels are studied in schools and touch on numerous themes, including the Holocaust, overcoming adversity, racism, gender roles, the power of words, the female experience and being a change-maker so there's always lots to talk about! I'm happy to pick a format that suits you - a talk (online or in person), an interactive Q and A or a panel discussion.
With my new Picture Book, Arabella's Alphabet Adventure, comes the opportunity to interact with younger students and I’m available for readings, activity sessions or anything else you have in mind!
